A tattooed musical fan with a chronic problem called ‘no good musicals in my country’.

After seeing the Viennese revival production of Tanz der Vampire in March 2010, I have continuously travelled around Europe to see this unique musical. It has become a huge part of my life and, well, I guess at this point - approximately six trips per year - you could also call it a hobby.

The meaning of this blog is solely to have a place where I can save all the greatest memories from my trips. The side quest is to have fun with tanzblr as much as possible.

To be honest, I was expecting something better. I don’t know if he truly was better in Vienna or if my memory actually fails me, but it’s like now he’s trying to go through the whole expression palette and it’s really not working. Or maybe it’s just me who finds it a bit funny.

His voice is somehow different, I don’t know why, but it’s almost like… super seductive. :D As it should be, of course! So no complaints on that part. I can’t say the same about his acting, though he does have those moments that I so immensely like. I’m excited to see more!

I mean, to me his Hamburg Graf and Vienna Graf seem more similar than this and Hamburg. His face looks young here… that was the first thing that stood out for me, how young he looked. It can be that that had something to do that I saw Kevin before (and he is an old Count), but Thomas looked really young after that. What I personally see from different here, appart from the youngness(?), is that, at least for me, he is not looking cold, but kinda… evil(?). I see a difference in his expression, not sure. The evil looks suits him… he is quite evil, but still cold. But I loved that… he was aristocratic, really a count, everybody else was “beneath” him. It was really great…  And I never thought about Thomas as a young von Krolock before, but it really was the first thing I noticed when I saw him… Considering that’s pretty much how Jyri Lahtinen played the Finnish Krolock, I’d either love Thomas or despair for him not being Jyri. I&#8217;ve always thought that, out of all the Krolocks I&#8217;ve seen, Thomas possesses the ability to look like a true noble man the best. He just has this aura of authority and I&#8217;m actually a bit afraid of his Krolock. He may not make me cry during Die Unstillbare Gier, but he manages to get me completely silent with amazement.
